THE PAINTINGS
All are Original Paintings, recently completed. The abstract style includes elements that are modern, expressionistic, and primitive. Every painting is signed, by the artist on the reverse of the piece, with his name, the name of the painting, and year of completion. Gary's paintings generally work well in a modern decor, or within a mixed style environment.

LARGE PAINTINGS
These paintings are 2 foot wide by 4 foot tall. They are made with Acrylic Paint and layers of Resin on plywood. Many of these abstract paintings have been worked at from every angle, and often can be hung vertically or horizontally. Resin seals the painting, and it can be cleaned with water and a sponge or soft rag. The texture feels rough in some parts and smooth in others. The resin is applied irregularly and parts of the plywood can be seen through the paint. As the painting is practically indestructible when sealed in resin, it is also suitable for more vigorous areas, like a kitchen or office. Metal framing clips are included for easy wall hanging on any surface. A colorful high gloss postcards are also included.

SMALL PAINTINGS (COMING SOON)
These paintings are shipped already framed. All the medium and style elements noted above apply to the smaller paintings as well. Besides being framed, the primary differences is that they are done on canvas board and framed, instead of unframed on plywood.

PHILOSOPHY
Art for Art Sake… some artists seek to ‘brand’ themselves, and or produce ‘artwork’ that is easily is duplicated and saleable –keeping their best work and true art to themselves. Each piece of art sold from my site is not a branded form of artwork produced en-masse. It is a truly original work created without regard to sale. Some pieces will develop in hours while others take years. I do not distinguish. They take as long as required.

PAYMENT
We accept personal checks, money orders, PayPal payments, and credit card payments via PayPal. Thank you. Payments due upon order must be received before an item will ship, and we wait for personal checks to clear.

SHIPPING
UPS ground 3-5 days. Shipping will generally take place within 3-5 days of order.
No charge for shipping on orders over $500.

HANGING AND DISPLAY
The large paintings are shipped with wall hangers. They can also be framed.

CARE AND CLEANING
Resin seals the painting, and it can be cleaned with water and a sponge or soft rag. Wood can warp and expand or contract to fill restraints. If plywood warping occurs due to excessive humidity or less than a fully secure hanging, this can easily be repaired by laying the wood upside down and getting it wet with a spray bottle or towel. Then flatten it down (with books or whatever) and let sit for a day. It will return to a flat state.

INVESTMENT POTENTIAL
These paintings are decorative, but may also harbor investment potential due to the life-long success and achievements of this local artist. No guarantees can ever be made in this regard however, and there is currently no secondary public trading market activity.
